The 2023-24 fiscal year brought growth to downtown Albemarle, with $1,625,673 in public investment, $11,664,679 in private investment, 6 net new businesses and 39 net gain in job growth.

Grants Available for Downtown Businesses

Did you know? 

Albemarle Downtown offers three grants to small businesses in downtown Albemarle. Whether you'd like to add planters, a new sign, or update your facade, grants are available to assist with your enhancing your business! Applications are open year-round. Interested applicants must be located within the Municipal Service District (MSD) to be eligible. Click below to learn about each of our grant programs.

The City of Albemarle's Catalyst Grant also assists business owners with larger projects in downtown Albemarle, up to $50,000.
